ArmInfo. Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Italy, sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his election to the post of Prime Minister of Armenia.
As the press service of the Armenian government informs, the message, in particular, reads:
"The friendly relations between our countries have centuries-old roots that for many years have grown into strong political, economic and cultural cooperation, both between our states and the civil society. I am confident that under your leadership our countries will continue to strengthen cooperation in all directions, using also relations between Yerevan and the European Union.
I hope that we will continue constructive cooperation with other regional players in order to ensure peace, stability and prosperity in the South Caucasus. "
