ArmInfo. In the opinion of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the potential of the EAEU is not being used to the full. Pashinyan said this in an interview with Russia 24.

 "I do not think that anyone thinks that today the Eurasian Economic  Union has realized the potential that it has, all the problems from  here." The arrival of a new person will be an incentive for solving  this problem.  "My role is to support the agenda and fill the  potential of the EAEU" , - he stated.

As for the agenda of the Union, then, according to Pashiyanan, he  will work on the existing agenda.  Nevertheless, the head of the  Armenian government did not rule out that during the discussion new  "useful ideas for the development of the EAEU" could arise.  "Regarding the representatives of Armenia, I think that some staff  reshuffle will be, but if the spirit of Armenia's presence in the  EAEU is somehow changed, then it's necessarily only for the better,"  assured the Armenian Prime Minister. At the same time, Nikol  Pashinyan expressed the hope that his presence on the margins of the  EAEU summit on May 14 will be beneficial. "I have great respect for  our partners - the heads of the member countries of the EAEU, I hope  for a good, working mood and constructive mood," he said. Touching  upon his expectations from the Eurasian summit, he said: "I'm going  to listen, get acquainted and offer something."

On the eve of ArmInfo referring to acting  press secretary of Russian  President Dmitry Peskov reported that Russian President Vladimir  Putin will hold several bilateral meetings in Sochi on the sidelines  of the EAEU summit on May 14, including with the Armenian Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Earlier, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol  Pashinyan informed journalists that he intends to participate in the  meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which will be held  in Sochi on May 14.

Meanwhile, on April 30, candidate for premieres of Armenia Nikol  Pashinyan talked with journalists about the issue of Armenia's  withdrawal from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which was  demanded by the faction "Exit" in the recent past. "The issue of  withdrawal from the EAEU is not worth it, but as I said, this does  not mean that there are no problems there," he said.
