ArmInfo. It will take hours, not years, to solve problems with monopolies. A similar opinion is held by the candidate for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, answering the question of vice-speaker Ns Mikael Melkumyan.
Mikael Melkumyan, representing the "Tsarukyan Bloc" faction, pointed to the facts of nepotism in the country's economy, in which the provision of tax benefits, quotas and tenders is distributed among themselves, including between monopolists. The rest, according to the vice-speaker, only serve the monopolists. According to Pashinyan, the monopolists will not stay long in the country's economy for a long time, the question is only in in-depth processes, which will take time to resolve.Pashinyan reminded that according to the legislation, there are no obstacles to the export or import of goods, but everyone knows that there are restrictions. The new government of the country will tackle this problem, so that all subjects work under the same conditions. Pashinyan recalled that only in 2017 the state attracted loans worth $ 700 million, which increased the debt burden on the country's budget, and did not affect the well-being of citizens. "It's like dropping a hole, which then starts to expand," said Nikol Pashinyan. He stressed that there are companies in the country that need supplies of raw materials for production, but they are not given the opportunity for this, sending them to buy it from import monopolists. "In all cases, it is necessary to approach the problem in a balanced way," the candidate for prime ministers stressed.
