According to Pashinyan, the RPA is predisposed not to hinder the election of a candidate from the people for the premiership at the NA session on May 1.
According to the opposition, during the meeting the parties agreed to organize a meeting with the RPA faction in an expanded format. The meeting is likely to take place on the 29th or 30th of April. Answering the remark that even with the provision of votes from other parliamentary factions, Pashinyan will need to get the support of another 6 votes of the RPA deputies for election, he said: "If there is a predisposition not to impede the voting, they (RPA) will discuss and make a decision that will not be directed against the election of the People's Prime Minister. "
Meanwhile, after the meeting, answering journalists' question about how the Republican Party will vote on May 1 at the parliament session, Vahram Baghdasaryan stated that he will refrain from answering this question before holding the RPA meeting.
