ArmInfo.Representatives of Azerbaijan once again, having abused the platform of Eastern Partnership, instead of talking about cooperation within the  framework of partnership, they make provocative statements. On July  10, during the press-release after the informal meeting of the member  countries of EU's Eastern Partnership program, Foreign Minister of  Armenia Edward Nalbandian stated in response to the statements of the  representative of Azerbaijani delegation on the Karabakh conflict  settlement in Chisinau.

"Security in our region continues to be threatened by the constant  threats of Azerbaijan to use force to resolve Nagorno-Karabakh  conflict. Previous April, Azerbaijan used large-scale military  aggression against Artsakh, which was accompanied by a flagrant  violation of international humanitarian law, barbarity against the  elderly, women and children, mockery over the bodies of the deceased,  and the beheading of people in the handwriting of the DPAH. In  addition, on 4 July, the Azerbaijani leadership again, using the  methods of notorious terrorist organizations, as well as before, used  its own people as a human shield to fire Karabakh positions from the  Turkish multiple rocket fire systems TR-107. In response, the NKR  Defense Army was forced to defend itself and respond to the  aggressive actions of the Azerbaijani side, "Nalbandian said.

At the same time, he stressed that as long as Azerbaijan does not  comply with international obligations under the ceasefire agreements  of 1994-95, refuses to comply with the Vienna and St. Petersburg  agreements, especially regarding the establishment of mechanisms for  investigating incidents in the front line, which can act as a  preventive mechanism, the leadership of Azerbaijan is responsible for  the consequences of their own provocations.
