The cost of cargo transportation through the new route through Armenia was lower by 1-2% compared to the Turkish direction. Within the framework of the multimodal transportation project, it is planned to arrange the receipt of Iranian cargo by road to Armenia (Yeraskh), from where it is transported by rail to the Georgian ports on the Black Sea.
