ArmInfo. This morning, as a result of the amnesty announced by President Serzh Sargsyan, Volodya Avetisyan, an Artsakh war veteran, was released. He was accused of fraud.
It is noteworthy that Avetisyan came out with a large bouquet of roses in his hands, which he raised, being in the prison. In an interview with journalists, Avetisyan said that he intends to immediately go to the Freedom Square and arrange a picket there demanding the application of the order of early release from arrest in Armenia. "If this order operated in Armenia, I would be released two years earlier," Avetisyan assured.
To note, Avetisyan in 2014 was sentenced to 6 years in prison for fraud.
