ArmInfo.Applications for participation in the International Film Festival "Sose", which has already been held for four times in Armenia, have begun to receive  applications for the participation in the Armenian and Artsakh cinematography, as well as the promotion of an international film projector with Armenian colleagues.

In the main part of the competition program, any film can be  included, without any genre and thematic limitations. Also two  additional nominations will be presented: "Content woman" and  "Student". In the contest program "Content woman", films about life  and difficulties of the women will be presented, and the picture with  the best interpretation will be awarded to the prize of the Mother  Sosa. In the "Best Student Work" nomination films from the beginning  directors without genre and thematic restrictions will be presented.  The prize for the winner in this nomination for a student from  Armenia will be the annual tuition fee, and the foreign student, in  case of victory, will be awarded a diploma.

Cinema shows are to be held from 14th August to 2nd October 2017, and  application may be submitted till 31st of May 2017. The international  jury which includes Armenian specialists will assess the nominates.  

The annual international film festival "Sose" was founded in 2014 on  the initiative of the cultural center "ZIS". According to the founder  of the festival Rita Khalatyan, film competition was created to show  the woman through telling about her advantages, problems,  achievements, opportunities and role in general.  The festival is  named after Sose Vardanyan (mother Sose) - legendary participant of  the natianal liberation movement of the Armenians of Sasun from the  Ottoman yoke, the wife of the legendary hero Axbyur Serob.
