ArmInfo. The Prosecutor General`s Office of Armenia opened a case on fact of false doc packages submission for the bidding procedure of Defense Ministry campaign for tender on coal supply.
As the Prosecutor General's Office press service told ArmInfo, in 2016, between Armenian Defense Ministry and N company a contract was signed, according to which the company took duty to supply 450 tones of coal to Defense Ministry during the third trimester of 2016. "After the contract signed, because of unfair performance of the company's obligations, the contract was dissolved and in respect of the company, penalties were applied. During the study of the agreement on the part of the Department for the Protection of State Cases of the Office of the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office, it was found out that the abovementioned CJSC, when applying for a tender, provided false documents. In the light of the given fact, on April 12, 2017, The Prosecutor General`s Office of Armenia opened a case regarding Art. 325, p.1 of the Criminal Code of Republic of Armenia. The Investigation Committee is instructed to submit preliminary investigation", the department's statement reads.
