ArmInfo. Armenia is experiencing a serious lack of professional staff specializing in  consulting. This opinion was expressed on April 4 by the economist,  the director of the Management Consulting Service "Ameria" Tigran  Jrbashyan in an interview with journalists on the fields of the  annual International Consulting Alliance (ICA) forum, which was held  in Armenia for the first time.

"In certain cases, we are often proud of good personal, high-quality  specialists, however, this is not so, we must form such a labor force  that is competitive not only in Armenia but also in international  markets, and we have very few such specialists," said Jrbashyan.  According to his estimates, in the current situation on the labor  market, Ameria can become a locomotive for the development of the  sphere and export of consulting services to other countries.

According to Jrbashyan, with the membership in the ICA, the  consulting service of Ameria began to take an active part in the  energy, agriculture and public sector reform in Armenia and abroad.  "Due to this international structure, we are trying to expand the  geography of our activities," he said. In this regard, the economist  noted that within the consortium Ameria has been carrying out 2 large  projects with Italian and German companies providing consulting  services in the implementation of programs for the construction of  high-voltage transformer substations for the companies "High Voltage  Electric Networks" and "Armenergo", providing consulting on the  implementation of the SCADA program.

"During 10 years, the "Ameria" company has formed a portfolio of 250  programs implemented, which positively affects the image of the  Service in the framework of participation in international tenders,"  Jrabashian informed. Noting that the main idea of the ICA is the use  and accumulation of knowledge from developed and developing countries  to increase competitiveness, the economist stressed: "This is a  platform that allows us to build trust and provide mutual  assistance". In particular, Jrbashyan expressed hope that the  cooperation will be log lasting. In his turn, ICA Executive Director  Frederic Andre, praising the activities of the Ameria Consulting  Service, noted that the work within the Alliance is aimed at  developing cooperation on the international platform, which will help  to introduce international experience in all member states. "We hope  that this initiative will allow to strengthen and increase the  productivity of cooperation for participation and victories in  international tenders financed by the World Bank, the EU and other  international financial organizations," Andre said.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of International  Economic Integration and Reforms of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan attended  the forum. "It is very important for us that there are consulting  companies in Armenia that would help to properly form structures and  institutions, ensuring the development of the country," he said.

To note, the annual fourth International Consulting Alliance (ICA)  Forum was held in Armenia for the first time at the invitation of the  Management Consulting Service "Ameria", which was attended by over 50  consultants from 30 countries. The three-day forum will provide  opportunity for participants to exchange experience with the purpose  of establishing cooperation with new international partners,  discussion of prospects for further cooperation and the results of  the past year. Previous forums were held in Macedonia, Barcelona and  Istanbul.

To recall, the International Consulting Alliance was established in  2012 at the initiative of the world's leading consulting company IBF,  and brings together over 60 consulting companies worldwide.   Management Consulting Service "Ameria" is a member of the Council of  ICA since 2013. Within the framework of cooperation with a number of  ICA member companies, "Ameria" implemented a number of important  programs in the energy and forestry sectors of Armenia.
