ArmInfo. Human Rights Commissioner of Russia Tatyana Moskalkova, who is currently in Armenia on a two-day working visit, held a meeting with Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan.
The press service of the Armenian Ombudsman's Office has told ArmInfo that the meeting covered issues related to human rights protection in the context of bilateral cooperation, as well as protection of the Armenian and Russian citizens' rights. The sides signed a memorandum of cooperation.
According to the Russian Human Rights Office, Moskalkova also met with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin and heads of Russian organizations in Armenia. The meetings covered topical issues related to protection of the Russian citizens' rights in Armenia, as well as issues of development of teaching at Russian schools and in Russian classes, service in the Armed Forces, protection of traditional values and human rights.
