ArmInfo. Vahan Shirkhanyan, ex-deputy defense minister of Armenia, who was arrested under the armed group case, has sent an open letter to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
In his letter, Shirkhanyan suggests three ways to overcome the crisis in Armenia. First, he offers Sargsyan to arrest all his "criminal teammates", including the previous two prime ministers. Second, Shirkhanyan suggests that Serzh Sargsyan should leave the country with all his relatives. "And the final option is to remain at power and constantly expect another armed group to organize a revolt," Shirkhanyan said, blaming Sargsyan for the large-scale outflow of Armenian population.
To note, Shirkhanyan has been under arrest for a year under the case of the armed group detected in Yerevan. According to Shirkhanyan's lawyer, his client's health condition has considerably deteriorated after he was arrested.
