ArmInfo. Armenia is currently working on developing relations with Uzbekistan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan informed today in parliament.
According to him, Yerevan hopes that progress will be reached after presidential elections in that country and formation of new authorities. "There were some difficulties with the previous authorities in Uzbekistan", Kocharyan stated. At the same time he stressed the importance of establishing relations with Uzbekistan considering the fact that the largest Armenian community in the Central Asia lives in the country.
