Police of Armenia, with representatives of Finance and Justice Ministries involved, undertook an obligation to hold negotiations with the "Security Dream" LLC and to present within one week all the legal solutions regarding transition of the Company's responsibilities, including the cash flows operations, to the state entities. An appropriate instruction has been delivered by the Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan during the Government session on November 3.
Minister of Finance and Minister of Justice were assigned to support Yerevan Municipality regarding negotiations with the Parking City Service JSC Consortium and Locator , and to present in a one-week term the appropriate legal tools to implement the transition of management functions, particularly - the cash flows operating , to the communities. The Chief of Armenian Police is committed to submit the concept of the Road Police framework reformation, stating exact deadlines and results expected. He also bears an obligation to study the need for new tools implementation in respect to the control over safety rules observance and paid parking sites operating, and to submit appropriate suggestions by November 30.
Karen Karapetyan assigned David Haroutyunyan, the Minister- Head of the Government Staff, to involve an ultimate number of personnel in this mission.
To recall, yesterday Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Armenia, conducted a meeting on the issues related to the activities of the road safety controlling and paid parking sites operating units. The President ordered the Government, the Police and Yerevan Municipality to give a solution to this issue, taking into consideration the immunity of the communities' property and interests. "I think, there might be proper solutions, and those would lead to the improvement of the sector," President mentioned.
The Security Dreams JSC operates within the contract signed on June 13, 2011 with the Road Police of the Republic of Armenia. Earlier the public, and the drivers first, have expressed their disappointment with the Company's activities, complaining of large penalties and unjustified bills. According to Armenian mass media, a part of the Company's stocks is indirectly owned by Alexander Sargsyan, brother of the President.
