ArmInfo. By the decision of Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, Arthur Afrikyan has been dismissed as deputy head of the State Revenue Committee under the Armenian Government. The official press release of the Government says that he has been dismissed according to his letter of resignation.
In the meantime, by ArmInfo's data, the reason of Afrikyan's dismissal is the discrepancies between Afrikyan and the newly-appointed Head of the State Revenue Committee Vardan Harutyunyan, who has established tough control over the employees to avoid corruption risks. According to media reports, Armen Alaverdyan, another deputy head of the Committee, will also be dismissed in the near future.
