ArmInfo. Heads of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries will gather in Yerevan in October. Fight against terrorism remains the main topic of CSTO agenda, in this light new measures are developed, which will be presented for the presidents' approval at the CSTO Council session in October, Secretary General of CSTO Nikolay Bordyuzha stated at the press conference in Moscow.
At the same time answering to question by TASS who will become the new Secretary General of the organization Bordyuzha informed that the name of the new Secretary General will be announced on October 14 in Yerevan during the session of Collective Security Council, Armenia's representative will old the position.
To note, CSTO Council of Collective Security will be held in Yerevan on the level of the countries' presidents on October 14. Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan are members of CSTO.
According to the information spread in mass media former Defense Minister of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan will become the new Secretary General of CSTO.
