ArmInfo. In 2022, every effort will have to be made to make it a year of recovery and revival. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this on December 30 at the last government meeting in 2021.
As Pashinyan noted, in the past year, it took a lot of efforts from the state apparatus to be able to overcome the internal political crisis without shocks.
The external environment was also "rich" in serious events, stressed the head of the Cabinet. "The invasion of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in May 2021 at the Sotk-Khoznavar section, with all the ensuing circumstances, as well as the incident that occurred on November 16, make the problems in the RA security more obvious," the prime minister said, suggesting that the government members pay tribute to the heroes with a minute of silence, who died for their Motherland in 2020 and 2021.
The Prime Minister noted that the post-war agenda and its consequences will make themselves felt for a long time, but Armenia step by step, consistently must overcome them and solve all the tasks of the foreign agenda. "We must do everything possible so that generations and governments inherit a stable, documented situation, which is a key condition for the country's further sustainable development," he said.
At the same time, as Pashinyan pointed out, it must be fixed - despite the willingness of the current government to take responsibility for making decisions, it must be admitted that not always everything depends on the Cabinet. The foreign policy agenda, proclaimed by the RA government to establish a peaceful era of development for Armenia and the region, according to the prime minister, must be promoted and completed with the help of international partners. It is important not to deviate and consistently move towards the set goal, Nikol Pashinyan noted.
