ArmInfo. By the decision of the Armenian government, a temporary ban was imposed on the import of goods of Turkish origin into the country.
The ban will enter into force on December 31, 2020, the press service of the RA government reports.
According to the source, the ban on the import of goods of Turkish origin presupposes, first of all, ensuring a security component, taking into account the repeatedly confirmed facts, according to which Turkey openly supports the military-terrorist operations unleashed by Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh. The ban on the import of goods of Turkish origin provides for the cessation of financial backing for the Turkish state treasury from Armenian sources, at the same time preventing the penetration of possible dangers through the import of goods from a hostile country into Armenia.
