ArmInfo. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Nikolay Patrushev.
As reported by the press service of the RA Security Council, the interlocutors touched upon the situation on the Line of Contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan, emphasized the fact of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan, including the tendency of the transfer of conflict from Azerbaijani side to the territory of the Republic of Armenia, as well as attacks, including on the civilian population. Grigoryan stressed that the Artsakh Defense Army, as well as the RA Armed Forces, brilliantly fulfills all the combat tasks assigned to them to preserve the inviolability of the borders and keep the situation under full control.
He also pointed to the destabilizing factor of Turkey, which negatively affects regional security. In turn, Patrushev expressed deep concern about the current situation and the development of events, stressing the need for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
