ArmInfo. Pope Francis called for peace in the Caucasus and the rejection of the use of force to resolve any differences against the background of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Pope said this on Sunday during a traditional sermon, addressing the faithful in St. Peter's Square.
"We are receiving alarming news from the Caucasus. I pray for peace in this region and call on the parties to the conflict to take concrete steps towards brotherhood and the resolution of all problems without the use of force," the Pope said, TASS reports.
