ArmInfo.  Chairman of  Armenia's Chamber of Advocates Ara Zohrabyan has filed a lawsuit  against the RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan. This information is  posted on the Datalex Legal Information website.

According to the lawsuit filed with the Administrative Court,  Zohrabyan is challenging the Minister's order on the mandatory  wearing of masks on the streets and in other public places.

To recall, the requirement for the mandatory wearing of masks came  into force during the state of emergency, and remains in force under  the quarantine in force since September 11. Earlier, RA Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly noted that wearing masks is  an effective measure to combat the spread of coronavirus, along with  maintaining social distance and hand hygiene. For not wearing a mask,  an administrative fine of AMD 10,000 is envisaged.
