According to Turan, the Main Directorate of the State Traffic Police of Azerbaijan confirmed the reports of the arrest of pickup cars. "These cars and other special-purpose vehicles can be presented for the needs of the armed forces and special forces in accordance with the "Rules for accounting for military vehicles" and are subject to technical verification. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan also reported on the holding of training sessions with reservists, and called on the society not to panic, noting that these are planned events.
It is also worth noting that the news about the death of Azerbaijani serviceman Elshan Mammadov on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border appeared in the Azerbaijani media the day before.
After that, critical statements poured in not only from Baku, but also from Ankara. Thus, the Turkish Defense Ministry accused Armenia of "violating the ceasefire regime" in the Tovuz region. "We call on Yerevan to stop playing with fire," the Turkish Defense Ministry said.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also made a statement: "I urge Armenia to come to its senses and stop attacks." The Turkish minister stressed once again that Turkey is next to Azerbaijan in a fair fight.
The Armenian Defense Ministry has so far remained silent on this report, and only came out with a refutation of the information of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces about the destruction of the Armenian UAV.
