According to the Special Investigation Service, according to the factual data obtained in the criminal case, V.A., who occupies the post of head of the Bagratashen customs point-department of the Eastern Customs Directorate in January-February of this year, and G.M., who holds the post of customs inspector of the same departments, with the assistance of another employee, used their official position against the interests of the service and did not perform official duties. In particular, on January 17, truck drivers loaded with 1,150 containers of oil were allowed to enter the RA territory through the Bagratashen customs point in the absence of a customs declaration regarding the mentioned goods, as a result of which the owner of the cargo did not pay taxes, duties and other mandatory payments to the RA state budget in the amount of 16.034.356 AMD. without customs declaration, through the specified customs, they allowed the transportation of 680 containers of oil to the territory of the RA, as a result of the owner of the cargo did not pay taxes, duties and other obligatory payments to the RA state budget in the total amount of 28.397.753 AMD
Within the framework of a criminal case being investigated in the Special Investigation Service, on suspicion of committing acts stipulated by parts 2 and 1 of Article 308 of the RA Criminal Code, as well as parts 1 and 2 of Article 38-308 of the RA Criminal Code, employees of the RA State Revenue Committee V.A., G .M. and A.T. were detained
