But today I came to Artsakh to congratulate the President of NKR and all citizens of the republic on the presidential and parliamentary elections. They were held at a high level. During these elections, it became clear that Artsakh is a democratic country where elections can be held at such a high level. Moreover, Artsakh today is an example of unity. Indeed, in Artsakh, after the elections, various political forces came together to serve their homeland, "the president emphasized.
He noted that during a conversation with Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan, the parties discussed a number of topical issues on the agenda. The Armenian President also stated that Artsakh should solve only one problem - to become and remain a strong state.
Armen Sargsyan emphasized that a strong Artsakh should have a strong economy. "Agriculture is the core of the Artsakh economy. Araik Harutyunyan and I discussed in detail the issue of what the Armenian president and his partners can provide assistance to the economy of Karabakh," the president said.
