ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing regret that he will not be able to take part in events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
According to the press service of the government, the letter in particular states: <I regret to inform you that I will not be able to participate in events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. As you know, with great love I accepted your invitation to take part in festive events. However, as it turned out later, the current epidemiological situation does not allow me to carry out this trip. Based on this, I decided to refrain from my visit to Moscow, which, as you know, was discussed and agreed in detail between our administrations.
It would be a great honor for me to attend the anniversary parade. I am sure that millions of citizens of our countries will watch this solemn event, mentally falling into the distant 1945, when our grandfathers proudly walked along Red Square. Victory in the Great Patriotic War is our common heritage. The memory of this unites our peoples and creates an unshakable foundation for the friendship of future generations. I look forward to our early meeting, which will provide an opportunity to discuss issues on the agenda of allied relations between our countries. Please accept, Mr. President, my best wishes for good health and success in your work>.
