ArmInfo.Admission to the Yerevan's kindergartens is suspended. Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Virabyan announced this at a May 18 press conference. Virabyan informed that, taking into account the current epidemiological situation, admission to kindergartens has been suspended for an indefinite period.
Earlier it was reported that Yerevan's kindergartens will begin their work on May 20, and they will be able to be visited, as a matter of priority, by children from socially disadvantaged families, or where parents (or only mother) work normally (that is, not remotely). At the same time, kindergartens will take measures against epidemiological safety, including disinfection of rooms and temperature measurements of children and employees. Virabyan urged parents and employers to be sympathetic to the new rules, when a child can enter the territory of the kindergarten only after measuring the temperature. Given that this process in one preschool institution can affect several dozen children at the same time, parents will have to wait in line, which, accordingly, may lead to their being late for work.
rTo note, there are 161 kindergartens under the jurisdiction of the Yerevan Municipality. All of them were provided by the Mmunicipality with remote thermometers, facemasks and algogels.
