ArmInfo. The Prosecutor General's Office sent press publications related to the latest statements of the son-in-law of the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the former RA Ambassador to the Vatican, Mikael Minasyan, to the Special Investigation Service. The press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office Arevik Khachatryan stated this in an interview with ArmInfo correspondent.
She, in particular, noted: "During the monitoring of the press, Minasyan's publications related to the former head of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan were highlighted. They were transferred to the SIS to prepare materials and give legal assessments of the circumstances indicated in them''. It should be noted that Minasyan during a live broadcast on his Facebook page stated that the former head of the National Security Service of Armenia, Artur Vanetsyan, on behalf of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, offered him a deal. The former ambassador of Armenia to the Vatican emphasized that Vanetsyan suggested transferring money to one of the charitable foundations and leaving politics, and in exchange for this, all criminal cases against Minasyan's father and friends will be closed in the country. "However, I rejected this offer," Minasyan emphasized.
