ArmInfo. Since May 4, a number of restrictions imposed in connection with the situation with COVID-19 have been lifted in Armenia.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Commandant of Armenia Tigran Avinyan on his Facebook page, since May 4 restrictions on free movement are lifted, and there will be no need to fill in the corresponding formsheet. At the same time, the ban on public transport will remain in force. Previously, restrictions on interregional communication were lifted, however, depending on the spread of coronavirus, a ban on entry and exit may be temporarily introduced in certain communities.
From today, the following types of economic activity are allowed: all types of processing industry (including textile, furniture, footwear, printing and so on); construction work at the final stage; wholesale and retail trade in specialized and non-specialized stores and kiosks. <Malls, and markets will continue to be closed. They can operate only points of sale of food and agricultural products, pharmacies>, Avinyan noted. As for catering establishments, the activity of restaurants, bars, cafes, taverns is allowed exclusively in open areas.
Activities in the fields of information and communication are permitted in full. The work of botanical and zoological gardens and specially protected natural areas, reserves is also permitted. Restrictions on the activities of sports clubs and facilities were also lifted, however, exclusively for sports events and training with the participation of professional athletes. Since May 4, activities in the field of individual services are also resumed (washing, cleaning and dry cleaning, hairdressers, beauty salons, body care services).
Meanwhile, a violation of the mandatory rules for organizing the activities of the above areas will lead to the application of liability measures established by law.
