ArmInfo. A multidisciplinary laboratory for testing on COVID-19 will be established in Artsakh in the near future, where testing on COVID-19 will be conducted. This was reported by the Information Headquarters with reference to the meeting of the government held the day before under the chairmanship of Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan.
According to the source, in March of this year, the relevant specialists were sent to Armenia for retraining courses. In addition, three online training sessions were organized. Retraining of specialists is expected to be organized locally. It is also indicated that four mobile digital X-ray machines will operate in the regions. According to the head of the Artsakh Ministry of Healthcare Arayik Baghiryan, about 240 thousand medical face masks, 220 thousand gloves, as well as 30 thousand units of sanitizers for hands and surfaces were stocked in the republic.
According to the latest data, 8 cases of coronavirus were detected in Artsakh, 5 patients recovered. The number of isolated citizens is 12 (their quarantine expires on April 30), and the number of conducted tests are 239.
