ArmInfo. At the request of the Georgian side, Armenia will open a land corridor for Georgian citizens for three days, the Foreign Ministry told News-Georgia. From April 28, Armenia closes the land border. Meanwhile, Georgian citizens returning to their homeland often use the Minsk-Yerevan transit route.
In particular, on May 1, 8 and 15, Georgian citizens arrive in Yerevan on a Belavia airline flight, which takes them through Minsk from different European countries. Georgian Foreign Ministry will ensure the departure of passengers from Yerevan to Georgia by bus.
According to the Foreign Ministry, if Georgian citizens decide to return to their homeland through Yerevan, they need to contact the Georgian consulate in advance in order to know their exact number. By Upon returning to their homeland, citizens will undergo a medical examination, after which they will be placed in a mandatory two-week quarantine.
Earlier, the Georgian side and Belavia Airlines concluded an agreement according to which direct flights on the route Minsk-Tbilisi will be operated from the Minsk airport on May 3, 10 and 17. Tickets go on sale for two days before the flight.
