ArmInfo. The State Oversight Service revealed a number of violations at Katherine Group and Levo Group during the monitoring.
According to the message, in particular, both companies, in violation of the requirements of the Land Code of the Republic of Armenia, used leased land plots (one of the companies still continues to use it) to carry out activities in retail trade in fruits and vegetables and buying and selling building materials. Meanwhile, these land plots were required to be used exclusively for the purpose of organizing a botanical garden. The requirements of the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia were also violated, agreements were concluded without notarization and state registration on the mentioned cases, and the cost of renting the territory provided by Catherine Group LLC was calculated at AMD 11 million less and was charged, not observing the rent amount calculated in the procedure established by the relevant resolution of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. In addition, construction work was illegally carried out on the leased territory.
As a result of the monitoring, the drawn up certificate was sent to the RA Prosecutor's Office to verify the fact of a crime.
We add that the Catherine Group company is actually associated with the former chief enforcement agent of judicial acts, Migran Poghosyan, who is wanted and accused of illegal business and legalization of property obtained on a criminal basis in especially large amounts. The Katherine Group appears in one of the criminal cases brought against Poghosyan.
