Ecuador will take over from Armenia

ArmInfo. Ecuador will host the 18th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. RA Minister of Environment Ambartsum Matevosyan wrote this on his Facebook page.

"At the final plenary session of COP-17, following a secret ballot, Ecuador was elected to host the 18th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-18). I congratulate our colleagues from Ecuador and wish them success in preparing and hosting the conference," the minister wrote.
