Arminfo. The “Hayaqve” civic initiative supported the Artsakh authorities’ initiative to launch political consultations with the parliamentary and non-parliamentary political forces of the Republic of Armenia. This is stated in a statement by the initiative published on its Facebook page.
“Ayakve” also expressed its readiness to join these discussions. “The ‘Ayakve’ civic initiative welcomes the initiative of the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh to launch consultations with the parliamentary and non-parliamentary political forces of the Republic of Armenia and is open to sincere and substantive discussion. ‘Hayaqve’ reaffirms its unwavering commitment to protecting the fundamental rights of the people of Artsakh,” the civic initiative stated.
It should be recalled that on September 10, Artsakh State Minister Nzhde Iskandaryan announced the launch of political consultations with the parliamentary and non-parliamentary political forces of the Republic of Armenia to determine the range of forces planning to interact with the NKR authorities. As the NKR state minister explained, the purpose of the consultations is to clarify how Armenia’s political forces envision further activities and cooperation with the authorities of Artsakh, what their position is on preserving the NKR state institutions and protecting the rights of the people of Artsakh, and how ready they are to take practical steps in these directions. Because, in his words, the issue of terminating or continuing the activities of the Artsakh authorities can no longer remain at the level of assumptions, individual statements, or political silence.
