Three citizens were detained in Armenia for attempting to sell 5 kg of drugs

ArmInfo. Three citizens have been detained in Armenia for attempting to illegally sell 5 kg of drugs, according to a statement from the Investigative Committee.

According to a source, during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, factual information was obtained indicating that a foreign citizen had illegally imported a large quantity of marijuana into Armenia.

As a result of measures taken jointly with the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs police, the location of the drug storage site was identified, where three Yerevan residents were detained during the seizure. All three were taken to the agency handling the case.

By decision of the prosecutor, a criminal case has been opened against all three under Article 44-393, Part 3, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code.
