Armenia and the Czech Republic outlined promising areas of bilateral cooperation

ArmInfo. Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan met with Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Jiří Brodský.

During the discussions, the parties identified promising areas of cooperation, including high technology, artificial intelligence, water resource management, bilateral trade, and tourism. They agreed to continue the dialogue on these areas in the format of intergovernmental commissions.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on advancing the Armenia-EU strategic partnership agenda, developments in the South Caucasus, and a number of international issues of mutual interest.

In the context of the dynamic development of friendly relations between the two countries, Kostanyan and Brodsky emphasized the importance of high-level reciprocal visits.

It is worth noting that, according to the RA Statistics Committee, mutual trade between Armenia and the Czech Republic increased by 22.6% during the specified period, amounting to $28.6 million. Exports increased by 49% to $3.2 million, while imports grew by 19.9% to $25.4 million.
