Ararat Armenia football club learns its opponents in Europa League  group stage

ArmInfo. Ararat Armenia Football Club has learned its opponents in the Europa League group stage.

According to the draw held at UEFA headquarters, Ararat-Armenia's  opponents are AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands), AC Milan (Italy), Sparta  Praha (Czech Republic), Salzburg (Austria), Celje (Slovenia),  Jagiellonia (Poland), Nijmegen (Netherlands), and Torrens (Portugal).

The match schedule will be announced later. A total of 36 clubs are  participating in the tournament. All of them have been divided into  four pots (each containing nine teams) based on their ranking. In the  overall stage, each team will play eight matches (four home and four  away). The current UEFA Europa League champions are England's Aston  Villa.
