PM Pashinyan introduces newly appointed Secretary Alen Simonyan  to  Security Council  staff 

ArmInfo.  On August 14, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced newly appointed  Secretary of the Security Council, Alen Simonyan, to the staff of the  Security Council.

According to the government press service, the Prime Minister thanked  Armen Grigoryan for his work in the position, emphasizing his  extensive involvement in Armenia’s security agenda, including the  peace process. "Mr. Grigoryan has made a very significant  contribution to our achievements in this area, and this is highly  appreciated," Nikol Pashinyan said.  He wished the newly appointed  Secretary of the Security Council, Alen Simonyan, success and noted,  "Mr.  Simonyan was also involved in making our important and  strategic decisions in the previous period. I believe that, having  also served as Speaker of the National Assembly, he is well-informed  and can immediately begin his effective work as Secretary of the  Security Council."

Armen Grigoryan thanked the Security Council staff for their  collaboration, emphasizing their significant contribution to the  Council's successful work. Armen Grigoryan also congratulated Alen  Simonyan and wished him success.

Alen Simonyan, in turn, thanked the Prime Minister for his trust and  Armen Grigoryan for his work.  Addressing the staff, Alen Simonyan  said he hoped they would be able to work together effectively.

The Prime Minister wished those present success in their upcoming  endeavors, emphasizing the important work accomplished in the  previous period. "Equally significant and important work remains to  be done in the future. I believe that, first and foremost, we need to  analyze the work of the previous period and determine the priorities  that the Security Council staff and the Secretary of the Security  Council should focus on in the near future. I have specific ideas on  this matter. But there are also specific questions that I would like  to raise with the Secretary of the Security Council and the staff. We  will have discussions on this issue in the near future, and I will  give the necessary instructions," the head of the Armenian government  said.
