Construction of Arshakunyants-Isakova road in Yerevan to be launched  by end of July

ArmInfo.  Construction of the Arshakunyants-Isakova road will begin in July of this year. Mayoral Advisor Aneta Babayan announced this at a working meeting of the  Yerevan City Hall on July 20.

She noted that all necessary procedures in accordance with  international standards have been completed, including the approval  of a compliance report from an external audit company, the  mobilization of an engineer and contractor, and the resolution of  various financial issues.

According to Babayan, the contractor has currently submitted a work  plan to the engineer for approval.

Furthermore, the mayoral advisor announced that construction work on  the road on Sheram Street will begin this month. Regarding the  Noragavit overpass, Babayan noted that all agreements have already  been concluded, and funding approval is currently pending.

"We have submitted the necessary justification to the financial  department to apply to the government for funding. We will need up to  400 million drams to implement this project," Babayan said.

The new Arshakunyants-Isakova road will connect the Malatia-Sebastia,  Center, and Shengvit districts. 

This will significantly improve traffic congestion and enhance  transportation accessibility for residents.

As previously reported by the mayor's office, this project includes  the construction of a 269-meter reinforced concrete bridge across the  Hrazdan River and landscaping near Komitas Park.
