Ameriabank has become the first Armenian bank to sponsor the EBRD 24th Annual Forum that is to take place in Tbilisi on May 14-15. More than 2000 reps from 60 countries will participate in the Forum. 

The Bank's press-office has reported to ArmInfo that this year the forum will take place with the assistance of leading regional bodies and international partners - Bank of Georgia, UniCredit and Raiffeisen Bank Int, "Akfen" company and, as  has already been mentioned, Ameriabank. 

"Ameriabank highly appreciates the cooperation with the EBRD. This cooperation has created more flexible terms and larger scales in terms of funding various spheres of the Armenian economy, including the small and medium business sector", said Gagik Sahakyan, Member of the Management Board, Corporate Banking Director. 
Since Sep 30, 2010 - the first day of the Ameriabank-EBRD cooperation - within the Trade Facilitation Programme Ameriabank has completed 75- mln- USD-worth deals on trade financing.  

The Financial Rating of Armenian Banks by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) says that as of 1 April 2015 Ameriabank retains leadership in terms of lending to economy sectors - over 215 bln AMD, with a 44% year-over-year growth.  The sole owner of Ameriabank is Ameria Group CY Ltd. Fitch Ratings has published the Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) rating of Ameriabank at B+ with a Negative Outlook.  Ameriabank has become the first Armenian bank with no foreign parent bank to receive a rating similar to the country ceiling rating, which is a high assessment.  The rating testifies to open and transparent activity of Ameriabank.
Since the start of its operations in Armenia in 1992, the EBRD has invested over ?650 million in 133 projects in the country's financial, corporate, infrastructure and energy sectors, with 87 per cent of the investments being in the private sector.
