Armed group "Daredevils of Sasoun" that has seized the Police Patrol Service Regiment in Armenia demanding resignation of the president and release of the jailed oppositionist Jirayr Sefilyan has addressed Diaspora and the Armenian organizations abroad asking condemnation for the 'unlawful' detention of Alek Yenigomshyan, the Karabakh War and ASALA veteran. The group asks the international community and organizations to express pressure on Armenia's authorities to make them set Yenigomshyan free.
Oppositionist Alek Yenigomshyan was detained on suspicion of supporting "Daredevils of Sasoun" yesterday.
