Justice Minister Hovhanness Manukyan is sure the public will find the right solution to the current situation.
Talking to reporters on June 25, the minister said the heavy-handed police response to the activists on June 23 should be considered in the light of the general situation. The minister promised that the official investigation of the June 23 incidents will give answers to many questions, including whether the police actions towards journalists were adequate.
"I think, we will find the right balance between democratic vales, democratic freedoms and exercise of the human rights on the on hand, and the need to observe public order and certain national security tasks, on the other hand," Manukyan said.
