Results of forensic medical examination and DNA testing have shown that only one person fired shots in Avetisyans' house in Gyumri. Lawyer of Avetisyan family's legal successors Lusine Sahakyan has said at a press conference in Yerevan that having matched the disposition of the rooms, direction of shots, DNA analysis on the clothes it becomes clear that there was one person only to fire all the shots - Russian soldier Valery Permyakov.
Lawyer Yerem Sargsyan has added that Pemyakov's cigarette stub was found on the oven in Avetisyans' house. "Permyakov's DNA was discovered on all objects related to the murder", he said.
To remind, Russian solider Valery Permyakov shot 6 members of the Avetisyans family dead and stabbed little Seryozha in Gyumri on January 12. The 6-month-old baby-boy Seryozha Avetisyan died on January 19 despite the genuine efforts of specialists to save his life.
