Georgia and Armenia have agreed to open direct flights from Batumi to Yerevan, Minister of Economy of Georgia Georgi Kvirikashvili said after signing a cooperation agreement, Thursday, in Tbilisi.
"This agreement will enable us develop closer relations. We have agreed to work on direct flights," he said. Foreign Minister of Georgia Maya Panjikidze said, in turn, that 1.3 million Armenian tourists visited Georgia last year and the sector is very promising.
"As for the agreement on exchange of secret information, it is a regular agreement for friendly countries," Panjikidze said.
