U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry held a phone call with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on April 25, according to the president's press-office.
The sides discussed the situation after Azerbaijan's recent aggression. Sargsyan said Baku's irresponsible actions have seriously affected the negotiation process for peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
Secretary Kerry, in turn, confirmed the Untied States' supported to the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
The sides stressed the need for mutually acceptable mechanisms for peaceful resolution of the conflict. Sargsyan and Kerry stressed the importance of the activity of the OSCE Minsk Group as the only international acknowledged format in the settlement of the conflict.
