VTB Bank (Armenia) jointly with the Visa International Payment System and Cosmopolitan Armenia Magazine have announced a campaign "Cosmomania" for the VTB Cosmopolitan Visa Classic and VTB Cosmopolitan Visa Gold holders ahead of the spring women's holidays. According to the press-service of the Bank, the campaign will apply also to the cards obtained in the period from March 1 through May 31, 2015.
All the holders of VTB Cosmopolitan Visa who will make non-cash operations for the period of the campaign will have an opportunity to win 2 tickets to Milan and 10 gift certificates for shopping. Top 100 customers who would make the most non-cash operations will participate in the lottery. The minimal amount of the cashless shopping is 100,000 drams.
The Bank recalls that VTB Cosmopolitan Visa Classic and VTB Cosmopolitan Visa Gold card-holder will enjoy a range of privileges: up to 40% discount at local and international shops and service points, a monthly subscription for Cosmopolitan Armenia free of charge, and participation in various events (including Cosmo Night) organized by Cosmopolitan Armenia.
By data of the Analytical Review "Armenian banks in the card business" prepared by ArmInfo, VTB Bank (Armenia) is the leader by the number of active cards that made up over 368,000 as of Oct 1 2014, with almost 30% year over year growth. Visa cards accounted almost 355,000 of the total. The bank is the leader by Visa cards too. Joining MasterCad 1.5 year ago, VTB Bank managed to issue over 13,000 cards of the given system already by October 2014. The Bank is the leader by transactions with plastic cards - over 120 billion drams for Jan-Sept 2014 with a 24% year over year growth.
The Bank serves 233 POS-terminal and 150 ATMs. Before 2013, VTB Bank (Armenia) issued and served also Visa International cards. Later, in September 2013, the Bank became a principal member of MasterCard International Payment System and launched issue and services of Cirrus/Maestro, MasterCard Standard and MasterCard Gold. Along with this, the bank serves local cards ArCa and has its own processing center.
