The Moscow International Currency Association (MICA) will hold an International Banking Conference in Yerevan on October 2-3.
MICA has told ArmInfo that the topic of the conference is "The Banks in the Age of Changes: New Challenges, New Tests, New Opportunities". Invited are representatives of the state regulatory structures, top managers of the banks, stock exchanges, brokerage and investment companies, heads and employees of the treasury divisions, financial institutions, FX&MM dealers, experts and analysts from Russia and other countries.
The conference will cover issues related to regulation and development of the interbank financial market infrastructure (FX&MM, repo operations, bond market, use of advanced e-systems and technologies, transborder operations, money transfers, etc.).
The participants will discuss the forecasts for development of the global financial market and its local (national) segments, innovations in the field of regulation, and will familiarize themselves with the analysis of the situation connected with the relations between the EU and Russian banks and the current peculiarities of the Russian monetary market in the context of the ongoing monetary policy. They will also discuss the problem of the Russian banks' resource base in the current situation and other topics.
