The Embassy of Armenia to Russia has confirmed the reports saying that four citizens of Armenia, including two children, were killed after a Cessna U206F floatplane and a Robinson R44 helicopter collided in mid-air over the Istra Reservoir, Russia on August 8, at 9:16pm.
By the latest data, eight people were killed in the accident. Their bodies were found and identified. One person is sill missing. Reportedly, among the killed there was an Armenian family: two kids and two adults.
"As to the citizens of Armenia killed in the accident, the following information is available so far: Paruyr N. Manukyan (1987) - his body has not been found yet; Larisa V. Manukyan (1992), Ofelia A. Glchyan (2005), and Erik A. Glchyan (2007)," RIA Novosti reports referring to the Armenian Embassy.
