As stated in the message of the diplomatic mission of Japan, this year Japanese films will be screened in Yerevan, Ejmiatsin, Armavir and Gyumri. Films will be shown in Japanese with English and Armenian, or Russian subtitles. In particular, the opening of the film festival will be marked by the screening of the film " Samurai Cat " (Dir. Takeshi Watanabe , Yoshitaka Yamaguchi, 2014) in Yerevan at the Moscow Cinema, on February 22, at 18:45. The same film on February 24, at 15:00, will be shown in Ejmiatsin- in the City Hall Cinema.
The film " Destiny: The Tale of Kamakura " (Dir. Takashi Yamazaki, 2017) on March 4, at 18:30, at the Moscow Cinema, on February 28, at 16:00 - in the Armavir Cultural Centre and on March 2, at 18:30, at the "October" Cinema in Gyumri. The entry is free. The festival will be closed by the Japanese animated dance film "Pop and Q" (2016), directed by Naoki Miyahara, which will be screened on March 4, at 14:00 at the Moscow Cinema.
