ArmInfo.An MPG-conducted poll showed that 42% of the respondents are sure that Azerbaijan is responsible for the blockade of the Lachin corridor, the only lifeline between Armenia and Artsakh.
30.2% of the respondents lay the responsibility on Russia's authorities, 29% accuse Armenia's authorities, 17.2%, Turkey, 12%, the Russian peacekeepers, 9.8%, all states, 8.3%, the Artsakh authorities. 4.5% of the respondents could not answer, and 2.4% gave other answers.
As regards the opinions of the Artsakh authorities' actions in the current situation (1 to 5 points), Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan got 2.2, and Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan 3.7 points.
As regards the Armenian authorities' actions, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan got 2.7 points, Armenia's FM Ararat Mirzoyan, 2.8 points, Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan, 2.5 points, and President Vahagn Khachaturyan, 2.3 points.
As regards foreign states' response to the situation round Artsakh, 73.1% welcome France's response, 22.8% are critical of France, 3% could not answer. 64% of the respondents welcome Iran's response, whereas 29.9% are critical of Iran, and 6.1% could not answer. 34% of the respondents welcome the USA's response, 48% are critical of the USA and 8% could not answer. Only 38.8% of the respondents welcome the EU's response, 51.5% are critical of the EU, and 9.7% could not answer. 33.4% of the respondents are critical of the U.N. Security Council's response, and 10.7% could not answer. Only 24.8% of the respondents welcome Russia's response, whereas 70.5% are critical of Russia, and 4.8% could not answer. 76.2% are critical of the CSTO's response, with only 15.2% welcoming it, and 7.5% could not answer. Most of the respondents, 96.2%, are critical of Turkey's response, with only 1% welcoming it. 2.7% could not answer.
Also, 49.4% of the respondents are sure that Russia must exert efforts to ensure the unblocking of the Lachin corridor, 35.6% of the respondents consider Armenia responsible for that, 23%, the USA, 22.8%, France, 6.7%, Iran, 4.6%, 3.5% all states, 1.9%, the CSTO, 1.5%, Turkey, with 8.2% of the respondents giving other answers and 2.3% unable to answer.
Also, only 14.7% of the respondents welcome the Armenian opposition forces' activities in getting the Artsakh blockade removed, 78.3% of the respondents are critical of the opposition forces and 6.9% could not answer.
29.4% of the respondents welcome Armenia's ruling force in the situation, 65.8% are critical and 4.8% could not answer.
The poll was conducted by means of telephone calls January 17 to 24, 2023, with 1,100 residents involved residing in ten Armenian regions and Yerevan communities.
