On December 2, the ruling faction of the "Civil Contract" party in Armenia will take part in an extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly, which was initiated by the oppositional "Armenia" faction. Eduard Aghajanyan, chairman of the NA commission on foreign relations, stated this to journalists on November 30.
He noted that there are no clear proposals on the agenda yet. <We agreed that today the "Civil Contract" faction will make certain changes, and tomorrow it will hold a working discussion with our partners. There are items in the draft statement on the agenda that are acceptable, but there are also items that need to be worked on. An extraordinary meeting will be held in any case, the ruling faction will be present at the meeting," Aghajanyan said.
It should be noted that by the decision of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, on the initiative of the "Armenia" faction, on December 2 at 11:00 an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly will begin. The session is convened in connection with the statement of the Azerbaijani Parliament dated November 8, 2022. Andranik Tevanyan, MP from the "Armenia" faction, will make a keynote speech and present a draft statement to the National Assembly.
